Conference room – Avontuur Blachere

When the CEO of Avontuur Blachere asked me to design a new interior for their conference room he was just back from a holiday in Ibiza and suggested to use Buddha’s as a distinct feature in the room, to create a tranquil atmosphere. To avoid the risk of ending up with a single themed Asian or Ibiza styled room which would have nothing to do with their core business; light designs for the holiday season, I added other style elements to the Buddha’s like panels with old dutch lace patterns, baroque fashion chairs, a mirrorball wall element, pebble-stone light fixtures etc. The lace panels were equipped with RGB led lights which makes it possible to change this serene white conference space in to a multi colored holiday season environment.
