Of all the choreographies of Gerard Mosterd I like Kamu/jij the most. Well-balanced and exciting from beginning till the end I think it’s the strongest choreography of him in which I participated, and while I was already responsible for the stage design of some of his earlier choreographies I also made a beautiful stage-video for the opening and closing scene of this piece and provided the publicity photo’s.

The birth scene with Anne-May de Lijser and Kay Patru for the opening en closing scene of Kamu/jij and was projected on the fabric of the 5 pillars on stage, the choreography was of course by Gerard Mosterd. It’s by far the most basic video I’ve ever made, just two dancers, one spot, and a hand camera, but I really love the result. To be able to film this I had to move in sync with the dancers and doing so almost became a part of the choreography.
