The videos of FKA twigs merge with the music in a way that it is almost impossible to imagine that they’re not created at the same moment, the music is a part of the clip as much as the clip is a part of the music. Very watchable!

Music, video’s, fashion, what next, a movie? Won’t probably take very long before Paul van Haver alias Stromae gets his first exhibition in a museum, the Stedelijk maybe?

Nothing gets my creative juices flowing so easily as Chef’s table. By far the most inspiring tv series I know.

On Netflix.

It’s the era of the image. Image is everywhere and says everything. I’ve always been a collector of images, and hundreds of them can be found on my Pinterest page.

In a time that the majority of the great artists are merely art directors and designers who let professional craftsmen produce their ideas, it’s a revelation to see the works of Jake and Dinos Chapman. Their works might be provocative and shocking to some but I just love al this manual labour, energy (and fun) that they must have put in producing al these tiny details in their work.

Please Netflix turn this book into a new international series, the biography (and life) of the famous writer and artist Jan Wolkers is just to incredible to leave on these pages!

When M-tv shifted their focus from music to reality tv it marked the end of the golden age of music-video. Still even now the music-video is one of the most interesting playgrounds for artist. Not hindered by the agenda of curators, the taste of mayor art-investors or the current fashion in art, artists can still put all their creative energy into a video-clip and create something new and exciting.
